Home organization
for ADHD women
by an autistic woman
who loves to sort
↓

Hi, I’m Annie!
For 20 years, across various careers, I have loved helping ADHD women get organized.
It started with a sewing basket… which the owner says is still in order! I now organize everything from attics to basements.
As an autistic woman, I find that sorting feels natural and brings me great delight.
But also, as a fellow neurodivergent woman, I’m a strong advocate for the beauty of all brains.
That means no shame and no judgment. The bigger the mess, the more fun I’ll have!
Results
“You walk into chaos, and order follows!”
That’s what I’ve been told, and it’s what I’ll create for you: A transformation in one afternoon.
To keep things simple, I won’t ask you to make lots of decisions. Instead, everything stays!
But order sparks clarity and frees up space. So you may find it easy to get rid of things later – or you may have more room than you thought.
If you keep meaning to organize, and keep putting it off, I can help you finally get it done.

All sessions last 3 hours, from 1–4pm.
That gives me enough time to review your needs, hyperfocus on organizing your space, and then discuss the results.

Frequently Asked Questions
I’m eager to help anyone referred by a friend or previous client. But they nearly all identify as ADHD women, and we always get along well, so that’s become my specialty.
As an autistic woman, I find many other things overwhelming (noises, changes, etc.) – but NEVER another person’s mess. The more impossible it feels to you, the more exciting it feels to me! That’s why my business name has a double meaning: “Let Annie Organize” (because it’s easier for me) and “Let Annie Organize” (because I enjoy it so much). I’d love the opportunity to transform your space!
It depends on the complexity of the clutter. On average, it ranges anywhere from one piece of furniture (e.g. a messy cabinet) to one full room.
Up to an hour from Rockville, MD.
If you’ve worked with me before, you can book again here anytime. For everyone else, the first step is to join my waitlist. When I can, I’ll email you a booking link and discount code to schedule your first session. The wait time varies based on my availability, but I prioritize anyone who was referred by a previous client.
My main goal is to give you “a place for everything, and everything in its place.” I may choose to include some minor cleaning (e.g. dusting cobwebs) if it helps with that goal, but cleaning isn’t my focus. There’s also no need to clean before I come, except in the case of any health or safety risks (e.g. mold).
In the world of professional organizing, “declutter” usually means “get rid of stuff.” I take a different approach: My goal is simply to turn your clutter into order – the same stuff, but sorted. I’ll make it easy for you to see what you have (including any duplicates), so it’s less overwhelming to toss or donate things later (if you want to).
Nope! I’ll bring some basic supplies like labeling tape and clear bags. Otherwise, I’ll work with what you have. After a session, I might recommend that you order additional items like folders or containers, but they’ll always be optional.
I may need to ask you some questions in the first and last 15 minutes of each session. I’ll mostly just need info (e.g. which things you use most often), not decisions. The rest of the time, you can relax and leave the sorting to me!
Certainly near the start and end of each session, but I’ll work much slower if we chat throughout. I’m able to work faster if we quietly share a space (with you relaxing or working on something else), and even faster if you feel comfortable letting me work alone.
Absolutely! I follow the same Code of Ethics as the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO). I’ve also been trusted to organize files at a HIPAA-compliant school, and at the Office of the City Administrator in Washington, D.C.
Yes, if they want me to! Please check with them before booking.
I’m currently focused on organizing as a service, but I might offer coaching in the future. (If you’d be interested in that, please let me know!) In the meantime, I always aim to put things in places that are logical, intuitive, and simple to maintain.
No problem, just email me. Organizing sessions are pre-paid and non-refundable, but I’ll send you a discount to use toward your next session.
Feel free to email me at LetAnnieOrganize@gmail.com.
“I can’t believe what Annie was able to do in 3 hours. I had been stuck for 3 years. And having tried another organizing service before, I really appreciated how careful she was to respect what I needed to keep visible/available, and to go ahead and take charge of everything else. She’s also just such a joy to have in the house – brilliant, creative, and fast.”
I’d be delighted to organize for you!
